Meet Amalia Moipopi Legote from South Africa

Hi, my name is Amalia from Gamaloka village. It is just a small village under king Teff Molete.

I’m also running an NPO which is rendering services to orphans, vulnerable children, youth, and elderly people. 

The village is a village of Bakolobeng tribe which was taken from them in 1976, the reason being, the soil of their land was very rich. Hence the land was taken from them and they were moved to a new place called Gaanalagte, where they stayed for many years, then they were moved back in 1994.

I came back from Johannesburg in 2018, which is when I started opening an NPO at Ga-Maloka.  The NPO is rendering many services to the community and it is working as an advice office.

It has changed many people’s lives and the NPO is also helping a lot by asking for donations from the relevant stakeholders to help the needy.

Amaria did not grow up with Moringa because it does not grow easily in the area. She discovered Moringa through Mariana Price who introduced Moringa and Moringa Products to the area.  

Amalia used Moringa also after a serious Covid-19 experience and she recovered well.  She uses it now all the time and even sells Moringa products.
